USS Forrestal CVA 59
from 1966 through 1968.

I was a Machinist Mate 3rd Class, member of "M Division" and worked in Number 3 Main Machinery Room.  In other words I was a Snipe.

I was aboard Forrestal on July 29, 1967 when all Hell broke loose.

This site is dedicated to the men who were killed or injured that day and thought her historic life.
